Importing .mxf files to Mac in FCP, FCE, iMovie, Avid, Premiere Pro from HyperDeck Shuttle 2

HyperDeck Shuttle gives you the quality and flexibility of compressed ProRes or DNxHD and uncompressed recording direct to common low cost SSDs in the smallest possible size. HyperDeck Shuttle bypasses your camera’s compression and records from SDI and HDMI direct into the highest quality video possible! SSDs are cheap and fast, so you can edit directly from the SSD media itself. It captures universally compatible uncompressed QuickTime files or compressed Apple ProRes 422 (HQ) and Avid DNxHD MXF files. The latter is used by thousands of broadcast and post production facilities worldwide as it maintain the highest 10-bit video quality with the advantage of smaller file sizes, but not acceptable by any video editor other than Avid. If you’d like to get HyperDeck Shuttle 2 MXF into FCP, FCE, iMovie or Premiere Pro for editing, the only way is to convert the DNxHD MXF to Mac compatibel and specific editing media format.
