PostSubject: MultiTV Frequency Change   27/11/12, 08:51 pm

First topic message reminder :

MultiTV, the multi-channel digital television service of the Multimedia Group Ltd, will undergo a frequency change today November 27th between 7pm and 8pm due to satellite upgrade.

This change will require customers to input the new FREQUENCY (12522) and new SYMBOL RATE (27.000) and rescan their digiboxes in order to receive continued services on the new frequency. This upgrade will extend MultiTV’s coverage beyond West Africa into parts of Southern, Eastern and Central Africa including the Democratic Republic of Congo, Angola, Chad, Tanzania, Uganda, Namibia, Zambia and Malawi.

In an interview with Edwin Annan, Technical Service Manager of Multi TV, he says the rescan has become necessary because of the company’s desire to provide compelling content not only in Ghana but in Africa, the
sub-region and beyond.

Multimedia Group Ltd is the largest private commercial media Group in Ghana. The Group also owns and manages six of the nation’s leading radio stations and six on-line media sites.

MultiTV is the Group’s multi-channel digital television service with nationwide free-to-air television in Ghana, offering world class news and entertainment through multiple TV channels: Joy News, Joy TV, Adom TV, Cine Afrik, 4Kids, Joy Sports, The Jesus Channel, Hitz TV and Real TV.

For more information about the rescan process and instructional manual visit the MultiTV website at www.multitvworld.com/upgrade. MultiTV urges customers to call its help desks at (+233) 302 211697, (+233) 302 211698, (+233) 302 211699, (+233) 302 211 680 or (+233) 302 211 688 for assistance. Customers may also communicate with MultiTV via Facebook at www.facebook.com/multitvworld.

Multi tV please boost your signal more. I used to get 32% in Blantyre Malawi after the upgrade but now the signal is always less than 30 at 27% maximum and freezing alot. I have tried to adjust and noted that its technical that side. Please help I like your services. Its Great.
